Family is a complicated thing, there is no denying that, and when you add dog children into the mix you are headed towards a medley of madness that is very tough to come back from. Which is what one canine pawrent found out all too quickly when she put her trust in her own flesh and blood sister to take care of her pupper while she went away for a few days on holiday.

An innocent enough activity, you might have thought, except that it resulted in her precious pupper being given away as though it were a piece of faulty furniture and a fight that could quite easily break a familial bond like a dry twig on a windy day. This is the story the proves you might be better off with the family you choose than the family you are born into, canines included.
